So its actually very interesting for me to hear from all these people why they stretch:) I love the reasons from being self gratifying, to self image! So I'm just asking you why do you stretch?? My reason being I'm a very impatient person,and by doing the stretching process I feel like I properly teach myself patience:) I also looove the way stretched ears look:)

For me, I stretch for personal appearance. I like the way I look with with larger jewelry in my ears. I have personal and spiritual beliefs that allow me to become more comfortable within my own skin by way of body modification. I also enjoy the social separation from conformist and conservative people that refuse to become in touch with their own bodies. Having the ability to control my physical body and emotional process allows my to be stronger mentally and spiritually in my day to day life.

I am with Vicki on this one, I stretch mine to draw attention to myself and to instigate conversation with strangers.
I love meeting new people everyday and this is just an added extra to assist me in doing just that.

I stretch because I like the way it looks, it makes me feel better as a person, and I like being different than the masses. And I LOLd when I read the part about conservatives, ireland. I vote republican, but I have tattoos, piercings, and right now, a mohawk. I know that it's probably a pretty rare occurrence to see that, but that's just another thing to set me apart, I suppose.

I'm stretching because stretched lobes are beautiful. I also need a way to pass this year since my bf just joined the navy and will be gone all year, Stretching is a helpful way to keep my mind off of the time, instead of thinking of how many weeks or months till i see him next im going by stretches

hey Deano, I meant more the religious conservatives. When it comes to politics, I share many views with republicans and consider myself very conservative. Like you I have tattoos and piercings and most people seem to judge you long before you start talking politics.

Ahh, yeah, gotcha. I was raised in a VERY religious home, so I know exactly where you're coming from there. As for politics, I consider myself center-right. I can only imagine what was going through the minds of the poll workers when they saw me come in back in November; "Young guy with tattoos and piercings, oh yeah, he's a dem......wait, his voter reg card says republican? WTF?"

going by streatches makes it seem like less time. and everyone gives him shit. he is currently a Seaman(E3) so jokes happen like crazy. mostly when i say i love my seaman lol. he told me they have a guys up there whos last name is guzzler....Seaman Guzzler....yea poor guy

Ahh, the Seaman Guzzler joke is still around, I see. That's a pretty old one, I'm sure there are some pretty old Navy guys that know that one.
