Ear stretching problem

Hey! my left ear is 100% fine, its thick its all good, my right on the other hand had a problem going to 1'' i went to fast as well. we all learn is a bad idea sooner or later :/ i learned it later than others, i got a minor rip, my ear is still fine and together its not critically thin, and my piercer who is a brilliant, brilliant man told me that i would in fact be able to continue stretching so long as i go slowly after a 5 month healing period. well its been 3 months and the one ear hasnt really thickened much, and im curious on 2 things, number 1 is the "true" thickness of your ear, when the jewellery has been out for a little and it thickens or when u first take the jewellery out and its thinner cuz the blood isnt in flowing as well. cuz i wear my jewellery out almost all the time and it and they both get really fat, and stay like that all day. only when i wear jewellery and then take it out do they look at all thin. second, is there some way to stretch say..... the inside of my lobe closer to my face? or the outside closer to the back of my cartillage? therefore NOT stetching the bottem outward part that generally is stretched? if that makes sense? haha
