I've been taping for quite a while. I actually started at 1 inch and am now at 1 1/4, haha. I'm not sure the exact ratio between wraps/mm. What sort of tape are you using? Most tapes i use, like PTFE, tell on the package how thick the tape is. Normal white PTFE tape is .003inch per wrap. I'd recommend getting a pair of calipers so you can measure them yourself. I just add a few wraps, measure them, and add more/remove some if needed.

Oh wow, that's sweet. How many wraps did it take you to get to 1 and 1/4, man?

Quite a few. The biggest single flared plugs i have are 29mm so i had to put 3mm of tape on them. Put it this way, the tape is almost higher than the flare on them.

Nice, man. I ordered some 1" and 1/4 double flares the other night on KBJ. They're sooooooo <3. Haha. But I got a while until I can fit into them.. I just hope it will be soon-ish, considering this is my final stretching process:) I'm just ready to stop finally. C:

You order from Kings? Nice! I'm good friends with Chris, the owner. He lives on the other side of town from me.

DO NOT add one layer a day. That's way too fast. Start adding a layer every like 4 days-a week. Adding a layer every day is going to screw up your lobes big time. I think like 4 layers of electric tape is a milimeter, but I could be wrong.

There's nothing wrong with a wrap of PTFE a day. When i add tape, i put 2-3 wraps and leave them for a week or 2. Long enough for my ears to relax and be happy. Now if you're using electrical tape, which you shouldn't be, more than 1 wrap a day will hurt you since it's about 3x as thick as PTFE.

Electrical tape won't screw up your ears, but certainly isn't the best material to use due to the toxins in the adhesive, I know. It's just the most commonly used that that I've heard and it's also what I used.

Don't tape on double flares (especially saddle plugs), you want sometihng with a flat wearable to tape onto.
Minor maths would work it out, but I tended to do one and a bit layers so it stuck properly, so it was very inaccurate for me.
PTFE comes in different thicknesses, I think mine is 0.007mm or something. And I was doing a layer and a bit every 2-3 days max
To the top of your average nitrile o-rings, +2mm

Though you'll probably be wanting some calipers. You can find cheap plastic ones (which might be a bit off) for REALLY cheap. I bought a set in a poundshop XD
I also have some posh digital ones, but those can be expensive.
And yeah, no electrical tape.
