Well my left ear has been pierced for years but I still need to get my right ear pierced. Would it make sense to get my right ear pierced at 14g and stretch my 20g on my left to a 14?? Or should I just pierce it normally and go through the steps?

one option could be to get pierced at a larger gauge

Yeah thats what I was thinking about getting my right one pierced with a 14g needle. The only thing is I heard you shouldnt really go from a 20 to a 14g, so my left ear would be bigger.

you can get pierced all the way up to a 2g. and definately dont stretch from a 20g to a 14g.

If you pierce with 2G does it stretch to 2G or remove the tissue?

That is a great thought isnt it - surely if you are having a small 1.6mm piercing repierced with a larger gauge needle you are indeed stretching are you not !
Just with a needle and not a taper - I had not considered it that way before - I maybe wrong.

The only time you would actually remove tissue is if you had your ear punched.

What do others think - Am I right?

Well if I did get my right ear pierced with a 14g needle, I could put a 14g plug in it right away, couldnt I ?
