right ear tender?

Hey,
I have been stretching my ears slowly and making sure they are fully healed before going to a bigger size. Yesterday I went from a 10g to an 8g [my ears are normally fine with the 2mm jump]. My left ear went in very easy and isn't sore at all (how it has always been - no pain whatsoever). My right ear had no pain when I was putting the gauge in [just needed a bit more pressure to go in] but this morning it is kind of sore and looks like it may have a TINY TINY hypertrophic scar from the jewelry possibly moving while I sleep?? There has been no blood, minor pussing, and it is a little tender/sore to touch. I do not think it is a blow out because there is no abnormalities... although I am not too sure. I have linked photos... please let me know what you think and any suggestions.

Thanks.

p.s. I took the pictures with my iPhone so the quality isn't great... the back of my ear looks more red then it is from putting a little pressure on it.

Well, I decided to go back to the 10g, SSS, and let it heal. It's healing nicely now, thanks anyway...

You may want to check the actual size of the stretching device and look for rough spots on the taper or what ever you used. I have heard that a lot of these are quite a bit different on size.
