I'm currently at a 6g and I'm wondering what gauge would look best on me.

this was when I had 10g.
I have a little scar tissue, so how big can I stretch?

p.s. my goal size is 2g-should I go for something different?

3/4 to 1 inch would look really good !

I'm with magalo on that. 3/4" would look awesome.

I have a lot of scar tissue too (from stretching badly in the beginning, bad advice from a piercer and not knowing exactly what I was doing at that point).
I'm up to 4g in my left ear and 6g in my right ear. My right ear I'm letting stay that size for a few more months, since it tore in my sleep when I last tried to upsize it to 4g. My left ear is doing fine though, I just need to wait about 2 months between stretching instead of 1 month (the average for most people).

As long as you take it slow and keep your lobes healthy with oil massages, there's no reason why you can't go big, even with scar tissue.
