I'm going to getting a ear stretching kit in the next couple weeks so I was wondering how concave tapers are. Is there anything bad about them?

That looks like it would work good. I don't see any problems with it.

oh! i bought that kit when i started stretching in august '09. concave tapers are EXCELLENT for stretching because there's a slot where you can insert your plugs. i've heard nothing bad about concave tapers, just stretch smartly and you're good.

happy stretching! :)

As the previous person mentioned, they have a hole/space at the large end where you can put the tunnel which makes them easier to use than flat ended tapers - this is how they got the name " Concave Tapers "
This is what my piercer uses when he stretches my ears !
