Hey guys, currently new to the forum. Quick question..im currently at 3/4s right now trying to get to 7/8s. it was a bitch to get the tapers in but i got them in. the 7/8s plugs are double flarred and cannot get them in..as soon as i attempt to put them in my ears start bleeding like crazy. should i get easier plugs to put in? its been months since ive last stretched too.

yes. your ears should never bleed.

Never stretch with double-flares. Also, 3/4" to 7/8" is a pretty big jump so you might want to use plumber's tape and wrap it around your plugs to stretch up gradually.

Don't use double flared plugs until a couple of weeks after the stretching has fully healed, there's no chance they will fit :/ If you really like the flared look I would recommend single flared plugs, with an o-ring at the back, but if you're not fussed then I would recommend stainless steel tunnels or o-ring plugs.
I don't mean to be cheeky, but I hope this helps =]

Its a 3mm jump from 3/4" to 7/8
Like corazon said and use some plumbers tape to gradually stretch.

I didn't have much trouble stretching..it did hurt but i was able to get the tapers in within a minute or two. i was thinking about getting some silicon plugs and leaving those in for about a week then putting something in.
