hey guys so i have a question. i have my ear stretched to 9/16ths. i am curious about something though, when im not wearing jewelery the hole in my ear isnt round like my friends, its more of a slit on a forty five degree angle.
is this signifigant, does it mattr, what does it mean ect ect.

It's normal, especially at that size. My right hole is a perfect circle while my left hole is more crescent-shaped when I first remove the jewelry. As long as it's not really wrinkly or full of scar tissue it's fine! =)

Even so, I know some people who stretched the right way i.e waiting the right time between and not skipping sizes, and even their lobes look a little wrinkly
I think, it's all to do with the way your skin/lobe accommodates the stretch, and to do with the type of skin you have. But that's just an opinion, I'm not a doctor xD

im at 9/16 and i have a round hole,i think it has something to do with the time you waited between stretching etc, and the size matters ofcourse, bigger = looser ,i was at 1/2 for about 4 months and then i decided to go further and i gradually went with PTFE tape (smoothest stretching method ever) had no pain at all,but my lobes have like started to look alot healthier since ive been using jojoba oil mixed in hydration creme, works wonders n_n
