Hey im planning to do my first stretch i just had a few questions.

1. Is 7 weeks a good enough time to start stretching from a fresh lobe piercing? My lobes feel great no pain at all, and im 18 (not sure if that has anything to do with faster healing)

2. Is using an acrylic taper just for the stretch a good idea? I already ordered a pair on eBay and their on their way now.. Im still looking from black steel plugs

3. Im going from a 14G to a 10G, how long should i wait before going to an 8G? I know im skipping a size but if it doesnt go through ill go with a 12G..

Any help would be appreciatted. Thanks

Also can anyone help me find some 10G black steel plugs, all i saw were acrylic and what is better to use for lube, emu oil or jojoba oil?

1. i would have 8 weeks or longer just to make SURE its healed

2. you should NEVER use acrylic to stretch it holds germs and all kinda of yucky stuff if you can TRY to get steel Tapers

3. and since your skipping from a 14 to 10 i would wait a good two months before another stretch to be on the safe side

and you ebay always have steel taper kits & www.bodyartform.com has taper 14g - 0g 7.00 - 9.00

1. NO. You should be waiting about five to six MONTHS! It isn't enough for your piercing to be healed, it has to be healed and strong/loosened up enough to stretch! You should barely even be changing the jewelry after 6 weeks, let alone stretching!
2. Acrylic tapers are fine as long as you're not leaving them in. Tapers are tools, not jewelry, so get some plugs to put in afterwards!
3. Don't skip any sizes and wait 6+ weeks between each size.

Stretching requires patience. If you're not patient, don't do it unless you don't mind having nasty lobes.
