I ordered a new earskin now im at 12mm, and when i got it, it looks bigger than any plug or tunnel that i already have in 12mm. And compared to my 10mm one, it looks like more than 2mm bigger.

Im not sure if theyve sent me the wrong size, or is it that its a 1/2 inch tunnel because kaos are american, and im from the uk btw.

Well, Kaos earskins are designed to make the hole look larger so it could just be that. But if you really think it's bigger I wouldn't try putting it in. Maybe you could see if your other 12mm jewelry will fit through it?

On one side it'll have the kaos symbol, and on the otherside it'll have the size (not the wearable). In TEEENY letters, couple of mm tall at most.
1/2" is generally 12.7mm. But it depends on the manufacturer. Not sure what sizes kaos run to.
They do look bigger cause of the flares. But if anything most of my earskins run a little small...

My 10mm one was small but this one seems big.
It says 1/2 on it in teeny writing though so thats probably why

As far as I'm aware, Kaos Softwear only makes their jewelry in imperial sizes, not metric. Sorry, we're still backward over here. But look around for sites that sell Kaos seconds, the ones that weren't perfect enough to sell full price but are still wearable with slight flaws. Often you can find odd sizes that way. Bodyartforms.com often has Kaos seconds for cheap.

Silicone plugs are made in moulds.
You don't get odd sizes in the blemished, you get flashing and odd bits of colour, I've had a slashed one too. The only odd size you'll find are if they overflowed the mould up too much, and you'll get a huge thick flare :XD

I wouldn't bother with cheap metric silicone though. I haven't found ANY that would even start to rival kaos. Weird thick stuff thats not very bendy.

Yeah kaos stuff is so much better than generic stuff.

I can't imagine that stretching with earskins is possible at larger sizes. they are just way too flimsy.
