okay, so i struggled abit to get the taper the whole way through, my ear felt really tight.. so i went and had a shower, and tried again. this time it went through fine. but trying to get my plug to follow through after the taper was hard.. and it took about 3 attempts.. BUT i finally got it in.
atm it just feel really tight in my ear.. kinda like someones put a clamp on it. and its a bit sore to touch.. but there was no blood or anything... does this all sound normal?

Well, if it hurts when moved then I'd stop moving it, lol.
Were they threaded plugs? As sometimes they can cause damage to the inside of the fistula.

Okay, do sea salt soaks twice a day and I would avoid the oil massages until they are healed up.
Something important for you to remember is that you should never touch your freshly stretched earlobes unless you have just washed your hands with anti-bacterial soap and water. Touching it with dirty fingers can lead to irritation and possibly infection.
Personally, I would only rotate the jewelry after a sea salt soak... after any crusties and buildup have been loosened up and removed with a q-tip. Trying to rotate the jewelry while the earlobe is dry can prolong healing and can promote infection.

It's not a revolution, it's a lifestyle.

There's really no reason to rotate jewelry at all, though... I wouldn't do it at all if I were you; just leave it alone.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!
