I like flared boobs?

Hey....
I am about ready to stretch up to a 6g and usually stick to the normal steel plug, but i just got some single flared tunnels that are steel and I want to try them out. Now there is not a deep O ring ridge and I know these can snag, so I have a question?
Is it possible to wear steel single flared tunnels when im stretching up from an 8g to 6g?
I read it was possible and had some friends verify, but I would like your lovely ears' advice...thank ya!
