Straight up opinion would be 12mm I find that half inch size nice looking.

We can't tell you what to do with your ears. Look up pictures of both sizes and decide which you like better. Also think about whether or not you can have big lobes for your future career.
I'm staying at 10mm for a while until I decide if I want to keep stretching and eventually reach 1/2". Our ears will be there forever so there's plenty of time to think about it!

Personally I like the 12mm better but once you get to that point, look at how that size looks on your ear. Everyone's ears are different and depending on the natural size of your ears, see what looks good on you.
