I want to get my second hole pierced on both ears. I want to keep that at a normal earring size, but I was wondering if I could do that right now or if I should wait until I've stretched my current hole more. I'm at a 10g right now and I should be going to an 8g in a week or two.

wait! you should wait until you get to your goal size, im not saying it happens to everybody, but if the second hole is to close to the stretched hole and you keep stretching you can stretch the second hole as well, speaking from personal experience, was at 8g fisrt holes, got seconds pierced, waited til seconds healed and then stretched firsts to 6g and i noticed that the 14g in the second felt really loose, like too loose for a fresh healed piercing, but i let it go, then 2 months later stretched to 4g in the first holes and the 14 plugs i had in the second holes wouldnt stay in, so i bought 12s they fit but loosely, so i got an old pair of my 10s and they fit snuggly, but at that point i took out seconds and let them heal, but i also downsized the first holes to help the seconds heal to nothing this took almost 8 months and then started stretching again and its all good no unwanted second holes, so i would say wait if you want them to stay at a normal 20g or 18g

If you have a good piercer, you can probably talk to them and get your second placed based on your goal size. That said, waiting is definitely preferable.
