There are a lot of posts on here about whether or not it's okay to stretch quickly and skip sizes, and I'll answer that here: It's not.

Yes, there may be a few lucky people who've been just fine doing it, but that doesn't mean that you'll have that dumb luck.

Recently on the Facebook group I was called a "pussy" for suggesting a girl should go to 7mm between 6mm and 8mm (and yes, it does exist) and was asked what was the worst that could happen by skipping sizes. So I'm going to show you

(ps. if you find this too 'graphic' then you shouldn't be stretching. If you're going to do it, you should be aware of the risks)

Let's talk about the worst...
You have to stop to breath, because MAYBE you'll inhale a poisonous insect, and it will eat you from the inside.

Of course, stretching too fast is dangerous and these things can happen, but you don't have to scare everyone with these pictures, those are extremes.

I'm genuinely not trying to "scare" anyone.

My point is, there are two sides to the "I stretched up really fast and skipped sizes and was fine" story. This is just the other side.

Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.

To me personally it just isn't worth the risk.

Yep, they're not nice. I really do think people should be aware of this side of stretching though.

At the very least you can end up with cat butts. Yum.

What are cat butts? Everybody talk about this, but I've never seen them on any of my friends, who have stretchs from 10 mm to 40 mm.

Stretching to fast is pretty bad for you.
and also you said you were at a 7mm?
where did you get 7mm jewelry ? i've been looking for some and i really need it cause i just recently stretched to a 0g (8mm) then how to take them out cause my ears got really infected and now my ears are like healed up so i have to re stretch them but this time i'd like to get some 7mm jewelry cause stretching to 0g is knarly.
Are they 7mm tapers?

It's where your stretch starts to get really puckered or wrinkly when you've skipped sizes/stretched up too fast, and basically ends up looking like a cat's butt. I'll try and find a photo and post it up.

Body Jewellery Shop are the best place I've found, but there are other places.

There's some tapers and tunnels on there. Admittedly there's not a lot of choice, but if you'll be stretching up further it doesn't really matter too much
