they come off at the worst moments.....especially when the plugs don't have grooves in them.
i dont hate them, but they can be a little annoying.

I dont really like them cause they trap moisture against your lobes . which makes them smell and also makes them chap and itchy ( its like when you have a band aid on to long and you take it off and the skin is all gross and waterlogged looking and smelly ).. If I use o ring plugs I wear the o ring super loose and I never shower with them cuase that really makes the moisture trapping situation worse

I agree - they do come off at the worst moments!! I find they annoy my skin a bit too. They are kinda useful at the same time..

thanks for the replies guys! that totally makes sense. Violentjayne WOW that explains a lot. Some days when I wear my O-rings and clean the plugs they smell HORRIBLE even though I clean them everyday and other days they're just fine.

So far I dislike them. I can't seem to put them on my 16G plugs. They are super tiny and I am surprised I haven't lost one yet. I have them sitting on my desk. I hate them and I don't know a way to get them on.

Im not sure about this one, but i HAD perfect holes, then i started touching my left plug alot and i think that because i had the o ring on tight, that it caused some deformation, because that hole is defiantly not circular anymore. And yeah as said before they trap water, and make that nasty cheese smell worse.

I used to not mind them at all but lately I don't really like them. I noticed a pink ring around the back of my lobe one day that I was convinced was scar tissue. So I was doing oil massages like crazy thinking I had scar tissue and finally I got a pair of double flare glass plugs that I'd ordered in the mail. So I put those in and the ring around my lobe was gone the next day, and I know it had been caused by the o-ring.

Thats exactly what i have right no! im pretty sure at least. What size was that at, that that happened to you? im at a 10 and waiting another half a month-month to stretch again (2 total), but i have heard bad things about using double flares at 10 and 8.

It happened just recently, at my current size (00G). I have NEVER been able to wear double flares until now, and I only can if the flares are tiny. Plus I've always been worried I won't be able to get them out, which happens to some people at smaller sizes.
How tight are you wearing your o-rings? If you can't wear double flares it helps to just wear them as loose as possible. Also, plugs with a long wearable area that have a groove for the o-ring are good because it stays in one place and doesn't usually touch your ear.
