Quick Tape Question

I've been a member of this forum for months but im just now getting around to posting, even tho im here often enough....
anyway, i wanted to know if ptfe tape is the same as medical tape. You know, that white johnson and johnson tape from the first aid aisle? Thanx. ^_^

no its different. medical tape is kind rough and has adhesive ( I wouldnt use that ) .. ptfe is also called plumbers tape or pipe fitting tape and you can find it in the hardwear section or plumbing section .. its usually 1 -3 rolls for 99 cents the kind I got ( from wal mart )was 3 rolls in a pack for 99 cents .. it has no adhesive its called tape just because it clings to itself kinda like saran wrap ( the name is kind of misleading lol ) .. thats why its so good for stretching because it doesnt have any actually glues on it

thanks. it's alot cheaper than i thought it would be too...
