Is something wrong?
I just started gauging my ears for the second time. I went up to a 6g a couple years ago but took them out. Ive had my regular earrings on since then. Last night i slid the left 14g in my ear easily. Ive always had trouble with my right ear because its smaller though. The right one went in but I had some discomfort. This morning i was cleaning them and noticed there was some green ish goo coming out (just a little bit) There was no blood, and after washing with antibacterial soap and soaking with some salt water I put the plug back in, everything seems normal but the ear is swollen, my left is not at all. There is discomfort when I squeeze my right ear too. Should I just keep cleaning it and it'll be okay?

Do you have any 16G or smaller jewelry? You should downsize to take the pressure off and the swelling should go down. Also, keep an eye on it because green discharge can be a sign of infection. If you do think you have an infection, don't take the jewelry out because it can trap it inside and form an abscess.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

So i should just clean it daily and wait it out then? Im pretty sure its an infection...although the discharge is more white than green. There was a teensy bit of blood last time i checked.
