Is it me, or does anyone else find O rings REALLY annoying?!

Indeed. O-rings get tiresome quickly. I usually go looking for plugs with small flares once I've healed for a few weeks and my ears start loosening up. I found a pair of glass plugs with a 1g flare and they're great. They stay in nicely, don't feel too tight while going in and feel smooth and comfy throughout the day.

That said, I wear o-rings on my nf tunnel in my septum so it doesn't just pop out if I bump my nose. I don't really notice them there, though. Lol

I feel you on this I dont like o rings and avoid them when ever I can . I think they trap in moisture and smell . I never ever wear an o ring in the shower . they trap in the water and that actually makes your ears dry and chap

I have to agree, I washed my hair the other day in my kitchen sink and didn't think about taking the o rings off my plugs and as a result my right ear(my biotch ear) is now dry and itchy so I am having to baby it now even more than I normally have too:(
