i'm moving up to 12mm hopefully within the next week from 10mm and would rather dead stretch then the taping method is there any specific way to dead stretch cause i'm pretty sure juts shoving it in isn't good for your ears

Re: dead stretching

I'm pretty sure "just shoving it in" is the very definition of dead stretching. Why don't you not be an idiot and stretch properly before you ruin your ears?

Re: dead stretching

Dead-stretching is fine as long as you're sure your ears are ready. I've actually dead-stretched my last four stretches with zero damage and zero pain... but I wait a ridiculous amount of time between sizes and use plugs with rounded ends.

I wouldn't recommend dead-stretching a full 2mm. You'd do better with tape or in-between sizes.

My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

I would but there's no way to find out the winner of the X Factor from beyond the grave.
