was just looking into buying silicone tunnels and am currently at 10 mm and am going to go to 12mm soon but was wondering is it better to get 10mm or get the 12mm and use them to stretch my ears

Stretching with silicone is risky regardless of the method. Silicone is only intended for healed stretches because it's porous. It can harbor bacteria which can lead to infection. Your ear can also fuse with it, causing all kinds of damage when you try to remove it.
Short answer: stretch with something else. ; )

Agreed. Silicone is horrible for new stretches. Also, the tunnels expand in your ears and force you to the next size whether they're ready or not. This can cause blowouts and tears.
