Howdy i initially had my ears pierced at 14 about 5-6 months ago and i had lots of trouble with them healing aka some lymph and blood until about a month or two ago when i switched to titanium cbr's. since then they have completely settled down.

Today on a whim i decided to see if i could fit 12's in via dead stretch(isn't it alrightish sorta for first few sizes? probably not yeah i know) Used some vitamin e oil and left ear went in super easy and just felt a little bit of tingling but no pain or resistance. Right ear just wouldn't go through and i felt resistance and slight pain also noticed a red circle of what i'm guessing is scar tissue is this a tiny blowout/scar tissue. Can anyone shed some light. When can i try to stretch it again?

Images below sry a bit too big you need to click on 2nd one to see anything.

Dead stretching isn't taboo. I generally don't do it simply because it helps to have a taper to guide the new jewelry in. That said, if you are dead stretching and meeting any real resistance, stop. Especially if there is pain. It sounds like you have a blowout on your ear. It's definitely time to downsize to where you started.

Because you were having healing issues for so long, you really needed to wait longer, especially since you had pain with your right ear. The guideline is 5-6 months after initial piercing, but the unspoken rule is "so long as there are no complications." you definitely had some. I would strongly suggest you downsize ASAP to eliminate the blowout and let your ears heal more fully and toughen up. Give them another good couple of months and then try stretching again. I suspect things will go easier for you. : )
