Nose piercing
I know it's not ear stretching related but I just got my nostril pierced, and I was wondering how long other peoples took to heal. So please comment and let me know:).

Hey, Chris. First, there is actually a sectio. For this. It's hidden at the bottom of the list, though.

Second, I didn't have a nostril pierced, but I did have my septum done. It took about two months to heal up enough to change jewelry. There was still the funky healing smell for another month or so. I would imagine a nostril piercing would be very similar. Congrats on the new piercing!

Re: Nose piercing
Most good piercers give the healing time as three months, but it can vary quite a bit. Also, the three months is just the initial healing, and if you're trying to change the jewelry often at that stage you'll probably end up with lots of irritation.
My right nostril healed in three months, but then I put a ring in and it got irritated. After I changed it back to the nosesecrew I had no problems.
My left nostril, on the other hand, has never felt 100% healed and I've had it for nearly two years. I assumed it would also be healed in three months and ran into a lot of problems when I tried to change the jewelry. It's fine as long as I keep the same jewelry in.
I guess basically what I'm saying is it will be healed in a few months but don't change it frequently until you can do so without pain, or it will take way longer to heal. Also try your hardest never to touch/mess with it during healing.

I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!
