Gone to 0

Just recently put size 0 gauges in, about two days ago.
I had a size 2 for longer than a month.
Once I put the 0's in, my ears got swollen but I assumed it was normal and it would go down eventually; there was a bit of blood on the first day.
I'm at day 3 and they remain swollen, I'm not sure if this is normal? I've put ice on it, been trying to clean them more than once a day but they are sore.
Any advice? Should I keep them in....or?
Thank you.

what material are the plugs you have in your ears now? that might be the cause of the swollen lobes...you should only have glass/steel/titanium in there right now everything else is a death trap...honestly i hate when people say this but you may need to go back to a 2 for a few weeks especially since u said it kinda bled on the first day...when i hit 0g aka 8mm my lobes were swollen for a day and only were sore for a few hours...

If there was a trace of blood, i would definitely downsize and do sea salt soaks with oil massages. sounds like your ears are telling you the tissue is too stressed from the 0g. it will be worth the wait in the long run.

Right now I have stainless steel in them.
I cleaned them out yesterday once more, and it seems like the swelling has gone down a bit more...
But is going back to 2g the wisest choice? I just don't want them to scar or stay permanently like this.
Or should I consult someone in person, like in a tattoo shop about it? Get more information...
Thank you.

Downsizing will reduce your risk of scar tissue, and make a blowout less likely (which can still happen because the 0G is putting pressure on your ears). Have you heard of 1G jewelry? I highly recommend going to 1G/7mm before 0G, because 2G-0G is a HUGE difference. It's really like skipping a size.
You also should really wait more than a month between your stretches.

Any recommendations as to where I can buy 1g jewelry?
Thank you.

http://www.piercedandmodified.co.uk/Plugs-sub-81.html they have a few 7mm plugs...n once again going to 2g to 0g isnt like skipping a size once you get to the larger sizes basically every jump is 2mm or more
Advice please!

So normally people start at a small size and work their way up.. And I was stupid and didn't do that. I skipped sizes. I started at 12g and i did bleed on that one and it hurt for a while.. They healed and were perfect in like 2 weeks :/ And yesterday I was dumb enough to go from 12g to 8g... And they hurt so bad. And bleeding a little.. Advice on to make it heal and stuff? Please..

It is but it shouldn't be. That's why I hate all these size charts and stuff, tbh you should be going 1mm at a time (ot 1/16") until you get to HUGE sizes. The difference between 2G and 0G is enormous. 2G is 6mm, so a 2mm jump is increasing the size of your stretch by 1/3! That's just too much at a small size like that.
bodyartforms.com, bodyjewelleryshop.com, crazy-factory.com, glasswearstudios.com, and more all have 1G jewelry.
