any tips for taping at super small sizes?

I got a 12g taper and multiple plugs (stainless steel, glass, and acrylic) and none of the plugs fit. I have 14g's in right now, but they're really loose and i'm sure it isn't too soon, it's been 6 weeks and I can take them out now fir a few hiurs without my ears downsizing. The 12g taper went through with no problem but I could not for the life of me get any of the plugs in, so someone on here suggested taping to get my lobes a little bigger to get the 12gs in. I'm having a really hard time taping just because everything is so tiny at a 14, anyone have any suggestions? I'd really appreciate some help

Try using teflon tape. Put a no flare plug in the center and wrap two or three times. Then cut off the extra with clean scissors. If the plug is single flare put the end of the tape to the flare wrap and cut of the extra, if it has a screw on back just screw it on and it will obliterate the extra on the thread, then unscrew and insert.

ok, thanks i'll try that instead. I tried bondage tape at first and it was just sticking to itself and just a total fail

Ugh. Lol. I've never tried bondage tape. Teflon tape can take some patients too. Maybe check out some YouTube videos and watch how other people do it.

I like to take a couple inches cut off the roll instead of trying to wrap from the roll, even though it wastes a bit.
