ugh sorry to make a wrant post but here it is , yes Im new to stretching only at 6 ga with my goal of 4 maybe 2 ( im not going huge for personal aesthetics ) any way a peeve is reading "stretching stories" that include terms and phrases like " it bled a little " " its lymphing all over " i skipped from 14 to 4 ga blah blah blah etc .. people can do what ever they want with their own bodies .. but what drives me nuts is calling that "stretching " they should just say " well I TORE OR RIPPED my ear from 14 straight to 4ga " never say I "stretched from 14 to 4 ga " because they did not stretch ! .. so yeah if you jumped sizes or bled , please quit saying you have stretched ears you dont ! you have torn and re healed ears ! good luck happy stretching and happy tearing for those of you insist on being impatient ..

also one more pet peeve is people going big and bigger just cause its like a competition ... I am going to a size that I feel looks aestheticly pleasing on me . and if people wanna call me "pussy " for not going bigger , then what ever ...

here is a quick analogy : I have a full sleeve and lots more Tattoos ... but some people only have 1 or 2 small tattoos . should I go around calling them names ? should I say they are winnies or pussies just cause I have more ink coverage than them ? No because its there choice to get as few or as much ink as they choose .. just like its each individuals choice to go as big or as small as they would like with their stretches

ALSO
one more thing wash you ears every day ! hello any part of the human body gets smelly if you dont wash it every day ! , I cant fathom why some people just dont wash their plugs everyday in the shower . if your in the shower already how much more difficult is it to just add wash ears to your daily hygiene routine .. I mean would you dream of taking a shower and not washing your ASS ?! right ? then why would you shower and not wash you ears ? I am assuming that you are washing your face and hair . so why avoid the ears ? this is just something that flabbergasts me ! lol .. I wash my ears every time im in the shower ( TAKE PLUGS OUT WASH THEM AND WASH EAR THEN LUBE UP AND REINSERT PLUG VERY SIMPLE ) , I wash them every time I change jewelry I wash them if I have been sweaty or doing a dusty activity , I wash them when ever they might be dirty and when ever they might itch ... really people if your ears smell this bad all the time , I would hate to know how your other personal hygiene is . yuck ! what about your ASS ? ARM PITS ? FEET ? VAGINA ? BALL SACK ? how are you doing on those areas ? do you wash them ? I certainly hope so !!!!!!!!

I know ears produce "cheese" dead skin cells , you can not avoid it BUT YOU CAN WASH AND PRACTICE GOOD PERSONAL HYGIENE
any way just some things that i thought needed said
have a great day
Jayne

All I have to say is, I love you!

LOL. I've seen so many people competing it's ridiculous. I'm going for 9/16ths because I think it is really adorable on me. (Im not conceited...) & People can be stupid and tear their ears...it's ridiculous as well. I hate that shit! I mean, my lobe has been spotting but I've had my 0g in for a month and then some. I don't know what's going on with that - ANYWAY

I do clean my ears, just not as much as I should. (It's an anxiety problem I have) but I do get what you're saying about that as well. If my lip ring starts to smell a bit, I just brush my teeth or use some uhh...mouthwash. Then everything is good. For my septum, I just use antibacterial soap for sensitive skin and then rinse it off and put it back in after I clean my nose. It's simple and worth it...I mean damn. lol

Ewww that's so gross! Surely she would notice the smell and realize something's wrong? I guess some people think that sort of thing is a normal part of stretching though...

it does matter when there are people who have been doing this sort of stuff for YEARS, way before you and i, and way before it became mainstream, and then all of the sudden a bunch of teenage shits think they are the shit by fucking their ears up. its a slap in the face to them, really

Marry me, we can be snobs together. Not that you're snobby, of course, but I probably am. I've grown from a young and stupid kid to an adult that's old enough to wonder why so many people are stupid. Doubtless one day I'll be old enough to understand and accept. Currently I worry there's too many people without common sense buying acrylic tapers three sizes too large and saying "screw it, let's do this."

And then sometimes there's someone like you. In fifty years we'll both likely be old people with big ass jewelry, while so many others will have either let their holes shrink, or sadly found out they never shrank back down. We'll explain to our great grandkids why so many old people have weird, scarred ears. They won't listen or care, they'll be busy grafting unicorn horns to themselves or listening to music inside their own heads.

Completely agree.
