I think 00 to 1/2 are the most appealing. Not to say that smaller or bigger sizes are bad.

0G, I guess. I feel like all the jewelry I'd ever really want is available in that size. I wouldn't rule out going to 00G or 7/16" someday though. I just prefer smaller stretches.

IMO small sizes are very nice and no larger than a 0G. I've still got a way to go haha

i am at 20mm in my right ear, 14mm in my left and going for 20mm, i think it fits me, not too small, but not too big. and i have long hair to cover my ears if i need to. smaller sizes are nice too depending on the jewelry you are wearing; i loved my 12mm bone spiral :3 i just love the look of organic plugs, i have black iron wood ones in atm :p

5/8ths! that's my ultimate goal but right now i'm staying at 00g until i graduate and leave my parents house.

I'm @ 1 inch and 1/4th. I "would" say that this size is perfect but everytime I go up a size, I say I'll stop there. But when I get there it's not enough! Is there ever really an ideal size? We gauge our ears for a reason! The size that "we" are at isn't good enough! Otherwise we'd have regular earrings like everyone else! And wouldnt be gauging in the first place! But i hope I'm not alone on this one!

7/16"-1/2" would be my dream size (= but everyone's ears are different and respectively have different sizes that suite their ears (and Persinality) best.

im stretching mine to 6mm in my left and 4mm in my right(at 3.2mm at the mo)because if i ever change my mind they would close (or almost)up x

it all depends on the person, i think MY ideal size is 19mm cuz it will just start to take my ears out from my head but its under an inch. i wont go over an inch. not never.
