So my right ear is giving me quite a bit of trouble, I went to a tattoo shop to ask what was wrong with my ear... And the dumbass didn't even get up to look at my ear. So I left with knowledge that I already had n with the wonder of what the heck is wrong with my ear. The whole itself is fine but right under the whole I hada bunch of bumps n i slightly squeezed to see if it was infected but I think i ended up breaking a bunch of blood vessles because now it's scabbing all over right under the hole.Theirs some swelling, today i took out the stretcher. I've been using sss and Vitamin e oil, I stoped using the vitamin e oil because i thought maybe that was it but i don't think so. I tried uploading pictures to show but for some reason I can't. If someone could give me tips to help it heal better and maybe help figure out what is wrong!! Thank you

Keep doing the soaks, but don't apply vitamin E oil; rubbing the area can just make it way more irritated. Also, make sure your soaks aren't too salty (no more than 1/4 teaspoon per 8 ounces of water).

Okay i'll keep doing the sss, n not use the vitamin e oil. n i'll keep making sure not to put to much salt. Thank you very much for your help

No problem! Vitamin E oil is great, just not for lobes that are unhealed/irritated. Use it once your ears heal up to break down scar tissue, or as a lubricant when stretching.

Alright i'll do that, my lobe dosn't hurt it's itchy tho what should I use to moisturize it to stop it from itching? i know scented lotions arn't good so I haven't been using anything

Itching is a sign of healing most of the time... almost all of my piercings have itched during the healing process. As long as your sea salt soaks aren't too salty the itching isn't a bad thing.

Ok good, glad to know it's healing. I really hope the whole dosn't close up because I don't wantto have to repierce my ear. Thank you for your advise! I greatly appreciate it

do you have the rubber o ring for the taper very close to your ear skin ? If you are using vit e and the o ring is holing all the oil near your skin all day you may just be getting broke out from it .. if i wear plugs with rubber o rings for more than a day at a time my ears get kinda chapped and broke out where the o ring touches the skin 9 around the hole not the hole itself .. sounds similar ... maybe try a cbr at that size and see if that helps.. good luck

I guess you can say I ware the rubber bands kinda close lol, n that does make alot of sinse of why my ear is being all retarted. I took the stretcher out of my ear just in case, because it was all swollen n red n bumpy. After it heals i'll make sure to not ware them so close or try the cbr. Thank you very much
