1g to 0g?

ive been at a 1g for 5 to 6 months and have been taking great care of my lobes. there was no pain what so ever when i stretched from a 2g to 0g either. for some reason,im still having trouble getting to a 0g :[ .i tried useing teflon tape,but my ears always bunch it up even when i put on only one layer(after a shower).(i will need to know some tricks for later stretches tho).i also tried to use the taper during a hot shower(as much as i would like to avoid using them) but they still did not cooperate. i realise 0g is a tough size to reach.i just want to reach it the nicest way possible.also,the 1g plugs i have in are strait glass,single-flare,with a rounded end.id prefer not to buy new ones,theyre hard to find >.<

I would suggest buying a pair of glass single flared plugs in 0g, with the rounded back on them.
Then for about 3-4 weeks before upsizing, tug on your jewellery for a few minutes everyday. This will help loosen up your lobe to accommodate the new stretch (even if you have scar tissue).
