so i just stretched to 8g and like 4 days after my ear started really hurting and swelling and i couldnt take it anymore so i took it out and puss and some blood came out of the hole. I kept them out for a day now been cleaning them. What do you think caused this? how long should i wait to try again? and should i start back at 14g? or can i go bigger since i was at 8g?

There was I expect a foreign body inside the hole or some kind of bacteria that caused the slight infection, I have heard this has happened before to a few people.
Give the holes a really good clean and a sea salt soak and it should be fine.
Kind Regards
Dr Rob.

If there is blood then you ripped your ear. Take it out and downsize.
Sea Salt Soak 2-3 times a day.
Also, how long did you wait before you went from 10g to 8g?

Yeah, just sounds like you stretched too fast. It probably wasn't an infection. Downsize to about 12G or 10G and do sea salt soaks (1/8-1/4 teaspoon of sea salt per cup of water... no saltier or it'll do more harm than good) and it should clear right up! Just make sure you wait a few months before you try stretching again; your ear needs to build its strength back up.

how could stretching too fast cause this to happen?

Stretching too fast means not waiting for the lobes to heal in between sizes. Thus, when you stretch a still healing fistula, you have a good chance of tearing the skin. Torn skin means blood, irritation, and sometimes, infection. Irritation could explain the pus, which actually might be lymphatic fluid instead.
It's just a matter of downsizing and allowing your ear to heal before stretching again.
And sea salt soaks work! SSS FTW. x3

Yeah i know what stretching to fast means. But when i stretched i put the taper through a few times because i couldnt get the plug in. So i stretched pulled the taper through while trying to push the plug in as well but the plug didnt go in so i just went all the way through with the taper and just put the taper back though. So i did this a few times and i would have saw if my ear tore right? because when i had the taper out i would have saw blood or something? Can your ear rip days after stretching?

Yes, your ear can rip after stretching. As long as the jewelry's in there's always pressure on your ear, and it can tear/blowout any time, especially if you weren't ready for the stretch.
