I LOL'd.

But, yes, SSS, titanium, and glass for healing stretches, but once they are healed, pretty much any material is fair game. One thing with wood, though, is that it expands when wet, so just keep that in mind if you go with that.

I think it all comes down to personal preference- some people find wood very drying, others not, some get angry ears from wearing silicone, others don't.

I wear glass almost all the time and I have never had a problem with smell, beacuse I clean my plugs and ears every day. I would personally argue that smell comes down to cleanliness, not plug-material.

I absolutely LOVE kaos silicone tunnels! My all time favorite! I also like to add hoops or closed loop earings through the tunnel to have some danglies and look super freakin cute :)

In healed stretches, speaking solely from experience, silicone is THE BEST for sleeping and sports. SS, glass and acrylic are absolutely awful for anything where you're running and get knocked about. Wood isn't too bad, but if you have the money for a pair of plugs just for sports and running, its all about silicone.[/quote]

I've read nothing but bad reviews about acrylic on account of it releasing toxins and causing reactions etc after extended wear, would the same apply to silicone? But...
Is there no harm done if you only wear a silicone plug for a couple of days at a time (or however long you do)?

Word. My ex didnt stretch anything but had a whole mess of piercings (no pun intended) in her right ear, and I always went out of my way to stand on her left if you catch my drift.
