Its your fault it chipped (well its not the companys or the postal service lol) and you wore them. They only accept returns if unopened. They DEFINATELY wouldn't replace it for free.
If they only sell pairs of whatever, they could probably arrange selling you a (mostly matching) single, so you don't have to buy a pair you don't really want. (and it'd be cheaper)
