I got my ear pierced years ago (3rd hole) at wal mart and their stupid plastic gun broke during the piercing and the girl just crammed in thu with her fingers ouch ! it was at a crazy angle and in 6 years never healed right , I took it out and it still festers up every few months :( the rest of my ear piercings were also gunned but never by wal mart and never so much trouble as that 3rd hole

I'm not saying they're the best...but for a simple lobe or cartilage piercing...yea I'd go there XD like I said, I've never had a problem there :D but for more complex piercings (like I want my rook done), you're right, I would DEFINITELY go to a professional, and I'm getting my navel done this weekend...I'm going to a professional for that one too XD

i measured it and it's a 2mm difference between them.
should i let it close and get it repierced or just continue stretching ? i don't like the idea of starting all over again :s

no, the hole wont close up all the way and you cant really get it pierced without the possibility of the skin between them thinning and merging into one hole. your best bet is to keep stretching. it gets less and less noticeable as your lobes get bigger

Just warning you, NEVER EVER go there for a cartilage piercing. Lobes are bad enough, but guns are a nightmare for cartilage. They use so much force that they can cause it to shatter. The difference between a gun and a piercing needle is like the difference between a butter knife and a surgical scalpel, think how much more force the butter knife is going to need to go through and how much extra trauma it's going to cause. Cartilage piercings are very difficult healers anyway, and the last thing you need is something that makes it worse.
