bad blow out

so i blew my right ear out using a 1/2 taper. didn't really realize it was a blow out or how bad it was till i got to 5/8s. then i figured it had been there so long there was nothing i could do, well when i finally got to 7/8s i tore the inside a little and it swelled up BAD! so i down sized to 5/8s for 2 weeks then 9/16s for 2weeks using vitamin e oil twice a day. it seemed to help with the blowout some but now i'm back to 7/8s and its still noticeable and i don't like it! its only on the bottom of the ear, like from the sides of the ear down. it don't hurt or anything seeing it happend around 3 months ago :/ but i'm at the point now of thinking about going to see a professional about having cut off. any other suggestions before i got to such a extreme? thanks for any imput

dude i went from half inch to 5/8ths in 2 days and got a gnarly blow out, i know it was fresh.. but i used vitamin e oil and used the tucking method. so maybe try that for a couple weeks and if you arent seeing results its not going to help. mine healed in a week.
