Taping my ears to 0g/bleeding

The taping process has been going really well, i researched it, went to Walmart and got some teflon tape. I've been taping them a wrap or 2 every other day and using plenty of emu oil to make sure i dont dry out.

But this morning i woke up and i took them out to tape them and reinsert after i got out of the shower, as i was taking the plug out of my right ear it felt irritated and i realized there was a small little spot of blood on the edge of the hole.

I took my shower, used some h2ocean on it, and then put some of my non-taped 2g's back in.

I guess my question is, is this sometimes happen in taping? and how long should i wait before trying to tape again? and should i start taping where i left off?

It sounds like you could be taping to fast. I always has a problem with my ears drying out with taping even though i made sure to lotion and oil them.

A small spot of blood sounds like they're just a little irritated. You did the right thing by taking all of the tape of. Just baby your ears and SSS them until they heal.

Maybe someone else can give advice on what to do when you want to start stretching up again. Sorry I can't help much. I hate taping
