Re: Wooden Plugs
I don't think you're supposed to get them wet. I'm not quite 100% sure on that so hopefully someone who actually wears wooden plugs will come along!
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

Re: Wooden Plugs
Nope! Wooden plugs can swell with the water and warp. I mean, if you hop into the shower once before taking out your plugs you haven't ruined them or anything, but it's not good for your plugs. dry = better condition over a longer period of time.

Re: Wooden Plugs
Its not a good idea.
Causes the grain to swell, and then the wearable can become rough and the wood can crack.
Same effect as if you don't oil them regularly enough, just a quicker way to wreck them. Plus wood stays wet for ages, wouldn't be surprised if it grew mould eventually. Jewellery is not treated like outside wood (decking, benches etc.)
You can use a DAMP cloth to clean them, but super-wrung out nearly dry kinda damp. I just use oil to remove any ear cheese or other crap, two jobs in one
