wierd "bubble" behind my ear, help is appreciated

Image

it is like filled with some fluid, and it is sort of tender to the touch, I would squish it pretty hard but the liquid would just move and not really come out, minimum blood and other liquid come out.

it is kinda hard to see in the picture but it is right next to the tunnel, sort of popping out, it looks a bit larger in person.

i was wondering if anyone had a solution to my problem, what it is, and how i can get rid of it, as you can see it gets in the way of my silicon tunnel and it makes it pretty hard to take in and out. i know like bubbles of puss are pretty common with piercings, but this is my first piercings and i am not very experienced and it does seem to be a little big.

any info would be appreciated, thanks

How long have you had it? Seeings as its squishy it'll probably go on its own with time. But I'd just lance it and drain it, sterilely ofc, and carefully, stop it getting in the way.
Warm soaks will help draw out the fluid too.

It could be almost anything tbh, and I can't really see it.

its probly been developing over the past week or so. in that ear i had 6g steel tunnel with a screw-on backing, and it got stuck and it was a real B*tch to take off, i had to go to a piercer to get it off with clamps and stuff and it really irritated by ear from playing with it so much, then that very night after i got it out, i stretched it to 4g so im thinking that caused this "bubble"

so soak it in warm water, sterilize a needle and drain it? its very uncomfortable because my silicon tunnel like digs into it and it makes it look bad too. im hoping its nothing serious. should i continue to clean with peroxide and squish it? thanks.

ya kno, after messing around with it, i noticed its not filled with anything, its my skin being pushed over from stretching, it forms like a lip thats right next to me hole, and when the flared part of my silicon plugs are in, they dig into the bump of skin, is there a way to make it go away or shrink down? it seems my ear is flat and normal when my plugs are out.

You don't sterilise needles, you BUY them sterile.

But anyway if its just skin... Have you tried inserting the jewellery from the back?
It could be hypertrophic scarring, then hot cammomile soaks will help.

hey guys i figured it out thanks for the help.

i was putting in my tunnel in from the front and the back flare would get stuck in my ear and cause the skin to be pinched and form that bump. i put in my tunnel from the back and its fine now. i was freakin out for no reason lol
