i am at 8g and i used a pincher to stretch them to this size
i have no tapers to speak of and have proper sized plugs that i wanna put in
i just can't figure out how
is there an easy way to put in small plugs without tapers?

you should be able to just grab some lube if your plugs are 8g and be able to slide them in
