Taping method?

Ok so I'm currently at a 2g and I want to start using the taping method once I stretch to a 0g. My question is what's the best tape to stretch with? and How many layers should I do a day or week? and How do I know what size I am at?

Thank you in advance! (:

I can strongly guarantee you will be satisfied with Teflon tape. This taping method worked for me without any problems at all. TIGHTLY wrap 2-3 layers of Teflon tape on your jewelery every 1-2 weeks (whenever it heals). If you have lots of tape, feel free to do frequent re-wraps, just to keep everything spiffy. ;p

As for the size issue, just compare in size to the fully stretched piece (you should only tape up to a bigger piece. Don't actually tape a 0g piece to 1/2", PLEASE.
Have:
Left Lobe 4g
Right Lobe 4g
Snake Bites 16g
Want:
Septum 8g
Right Industrial 16g
Left Conch 4g

Oh okay thanks! :)

So you're saying don't tape my 0g plug all the way up to 1/2? I should just buy bigger plugs and wrap tape around them?

Sorry if I'm confusing you, I'm just confused about the last part.

Yea, more or less. Say your at 0g and want to go to 00g. Buy a 00g plug of your choice, and use the taping method on your 0g plug until your ear is the approximate size of the 00g (just hold them beside each other) and then pop the 00g plug in there. Do the same for each size up. ;p
