Query

Hi....

Is there such a thing as a 1.8mm plug? If so a website in the uk would be fab :0)

I have just stretched to a 1.6mm (from a 1.2mm) which has been a bit sore, so do not really want to make the jump to a 2mm. I am taking it real slow so not to damage my ear. Pussy with pain...yes I am :D

Many thanks.....Jingle Bells

Re: Query

I've looked everywhere for you but I can't seem to find any in 1.8mm. My suggestion would say give your ear about another month or more to heal up if it's already sore. Then you shouldn't have a problem going from 1.6mm to 2mm.

If it's sore right now I suggest doing a sea salt soak everyday until the pain is gone and you feel that it's healed. Then do oil massages for about another month. Then the stretch should be pretty easy.

Re: Query

Hi

Thanks for the reply. I was going to stretch again at the very end of April. There is no rush ...... :D I have been doing my ss washes twice a day and I have found if my lobe is sore later in the day, I do a warm water soak and find this helps a lot.
My right ear lobe could not settle with a mere 1.2mm got numbness in my face and eye lid, also hot lobe and cheek (tried twice)....so ended up swapping to my left ear....so so much better.

I will leave it till the end of April and then start using the oil to massage for a couple of weeks and see how it goes.

Thanks for net hunting.... I found nothing as well :0) hey ho 2mm it will be.

No problem. I'm here to help. Sounds like you're taking all the right steps and you should have a good stretching experience. :D

Not quite sure I understand you here, but numbness in your face and eyelid, as well as hotness in your lobe and cheek is not a good sign.... how recently were you pierced before stretching?

Re: Query

Hi,

My ears were done when I was Baby, So a long time ago. It was really weird and not such a good feeling, thats why I took it out left to heal then tried again. Then when it happened again.... well I took it straight out. As I have said stretched my left lobe and no problems.......

Re: Query

That's a really bizarre thing to have happen. I'd suggest to just leave that ear alone, it seems like it doesn't agree with being pierced in general.

Re: Query

Hi

I have left the right ear lobe well alone. Old earings are back in fine with no probs whatsoever...good learning curve at least I know that it's a no go. My Left Lobe is soooooo much better today not so sore at all and looking goooooddddd. Thanks for the feedback :D

Re: Query

What kind of materials were you wearing in your ears before? it might have been irritating them.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

Re: Query

Hi

Before I started to stretch the second hole on my right ear lobe I was wear platinum which was fine no problems of any kind. When I started to stretch I used surgical steel. I have put my old earings back in and everything is back to normal????
So strange....not to worry as my left is doing goooood :D
