Should i wait any longer?

Hi Everyone,
My names Matt, new to EARSTRETCHING.NET so thanks for having me!

Wanted to know what you guys thought...
I'm currently sat at a 6g/4mm stretch. I've been at this size for 2 weeks now and my lobe feels good, i've given it a salt bathe everyday twice a day and have been using jojoba ear creme to message into the lobe too. It feels and looks totally healed.
I have a taper to move up to 4g/5mm. Even though everything seems cool i'm a little unsure if i should do it yet due to the short ammount of time since my last stretch? Ive red other posts and seen advice to wait 4/6/8 weeks ect... is that normal even if the lobe is okay?

Do you think i should wait any longer and if so how long?

Any help and advice would be awesome.
Cheers ! :D

Matt

Re: Should i wait any longer?

You should wait at least 6 weeks and actually longer, because although your lobe feels fine, it has no way near enough time to bulid new skincells in two weeks- and this will end you up with thin, catbutty lobes. The recommended intervals are:

Fresh piercing to first stretch: Approx 5 to 6 months
16g to 14g - 1 month
14g to 12g - 1 month
12g to 10g - 1.5 months
10g to 8g - 2 months
8g to 6g - 3 months
6g to 4g - 3 month
4g to 2g - 3 months
2g to 0g - 4 months
0g to 00g - 4 months

So sit tight and remember that it is a permanent mod and you want it to look good, cos it will be there for the rest of your life.
