One lobe bigger than the other.
when i first got my ears pierced the guy that pierced them is old and pierced my right ear at an angle. now, after stretching them to 1/2 inch, my right ear lobe is noticeably smaller than the left one. i was wondering if there was a way for me to thicken my right earlobe? i have had people tell me to use jojoba oil and take my plugs out at night and stuff like that. do any of these actually work?

It's probably not as noticeable as you think... my right lobe is naturally a bit fatter than my left and for ages I thought my piercings were uneven. But to answer your question, since you're already at 1/2" there's not a whole lot you can do unless you got them scalpelled to a bigger size. Emu oil is probably the best oil for thickening your lobes so that's worth a try!
And yeah, taking your plugs out at night is a great idea. To make sure they won't shrink, try leaving them out during the day: first for an hour, then for two hours, then for three, etc. so you're sure you can leave them out for the amount of time you sleep.

I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

^exactly, most people are a little uneven. i was paranoid that my left ear was pierced lower than my right. but my friends assure me they cant tell unless i point it out and they look really hard for it.
scalpelling isnt worth it, even if there is a noticeable difference. more of a mess than its worth

I know what you mean, my piercer pierced my left ear at an angle pointing directly towards my neck.. Will using tapers be a problem?austin.hart wrote:when i first got my ears pierced the guy that pierced them is old and pierced my right ear at an angle. now, after stretching them to 1/2 inch, my right ear lobe is noticeably smaller than the left one. i was wondering if there was a way for me to thicken my right earlobe? i have had people tell me to use jojoba oil and take my plugs out at night and stuff like that. do any of these actually work?
