I stretched from a 2g to a 0 about a week ago. I put my taper in until it would go no further(with no pain) and then waited about a week then did this again (no pain) and i got the taper to go all the way through. (this is where I am at now) but the other day I took my plugs out to take a shower. and as i was using my anti-bacterial soap i noticed something sticky coming from my left year. I immediately got out and looked at it and it was pussing just a tad. after i got out of the shower i massaged it with vitamin e oil. then later in the day i did a sea salt soak. It was swollen a bit but i put my taper back in. yesterday I did a sea salt and rubbed it with vatimen e oil. now today i took it out and was able to get the biggest end of the taper though, like always. and it is a lot less soar and barely any swelling. i did another sea salt soak and massage with vitamin e oil. and i looked at it and i can see where the puss is coming from but there isn't barely any puss, i cleaned with a wet q-tip and virtually nothing came onto it. i am currently wearing acrylic plugs, and am ordering stainless steal ones today. so i would very much appreciate advise and any other recommendations. it isn't painful today, it's just sensitive (but the sensitivity isn't any different then every other time i stretched my ears).
also is there any good places to get tunnels, that i don't have to break the bank to buy a pair from?
please and thanks!

Re: Unsure if I should downsize?
When you stretch you should be able to push the taper all the way through, if not your ears aren't ready. Between 2g and 0g is a big jump, many people go to 1g first. As long as you didn't have a blowout, rip your ear, or anything of that sort, you should be okay, but personally I would downsize to at least 1g if not back to 2g.
Re: Unsure if I should downsize?
if i had a blow out, tear would it be obvioius? it no longer hurts at all and i have a plug in it. i'll go by a piercing shop and get their oppinion and maybe get a 1g plug.

When I was in your situation with other sizes I toughed it out and was fine. Check with your piercer also and see what they think.
The sound of gun fire so loud and rapid, but it seems to be so quiet around me, and out of nowhere I feel peace cover me. I reach down and reload my ticket home. The taste of cold steel on my lips, and a second later silence fills the January air...
