Re: Flesh Tone Hider Plugs?
It turns out I'm allergic to silicone though :/ or at least I think...my ears started itching like crazzzy after having these in for a day so I took them out and haven't tried again since

Re: Flesh Tone Hider Plugs?
one ghetto method that totally worked for me was just finding a bandaid that was pretty close to my skin tone and putting a cut out onto a plug. i have long hair too and it was almost unnoticeable XD

He Reesie, That is a really good point maybe an email to Kaos would be in order as there is sure a market out there for them in differing shades dependent on peoples ethnic background.
Well Said.

Loads of people have suggested kaos make browner hiders.
Best bet is woods

Im sure there is a market for them, but probably not enough demad I guess. I really dont want to hide them, but in the event that I need to for any reason, it would be nice to have around. Once I reach my "goal" size (or size I plan to rest at for a good while...we all know how that goes) I will order some wood and some colorfronts and see how those do the trick.

Re: Flesh Tone Hider Plugs?
Concave sits flusher to skin. So that'd be best.
Loads of people custom make wood, so if you see a wood you think would match (and its skin safe) Choose that!
Does go darker over time with oiling though, so take that into account too.
I think kaos' main problem is that theres a a couple of white shades, and if its off its not tooo horrific (and loads of people seem to have different coloured ears to their head :S). But theres soo much variation in black skin (and asian), they'd struggle to make adequate matches?
It is rather a longer scale. But I've seen them do limited runs before, and its not like they'd need to develop new moulds or anything... Spose if enough people emailed them

Re: Flesh Tone Hider Plugs?
I have often wonder what it would look like (for small gauge) if you took hider plugs and then drilled holes and put in large normal earrings. So this would help hide the hider plug.

Re: Flesh Tone Hider Plugs?
I've done that. Mainly to use dangly earrings. You don't need to drill anything though, silicone is soft, just stab it in!
Its much easier at small gauges to wear colourfronts or something though. CZ & pearl plugs esp. Just look like your typical too huge girly studs
Noone looks at the back or your ears or anything.
