hi guys.. i've been at 0g for 8ish months. i tried to stretch up to 00g last night but the tapers didn't go through all the way so i slept in them.. woke up and tried again but only made my ears swell, they were bleeding a little bit, the works... i ended up downsizing to 0g.
what should i do? AH!

00G can be either 9mm, 9.5mm, or 10mm in diameter so it's likely that yours is 10mm and a 2mm stretch is too much. When I went to 00G I made sure the jewelry I got was 9mm and the stretch was super easy.

It sucks when they have different measurements for one size!!
If it's bleeding, downsize and let it heal!
And if you still wanna go up, use the taping method! I feel like they're waay safer than tapers
because they don't like, have the risk of dragging your skin out like tapers do.
I added maybe 3-5 layers every week and kept them in over night and cleaned them everyday and had no problems at all.
I bought 00 and 7/16 plugs at the same time,
without even knowing I actually taped to 9/16ths like nothing.
and it was completely painless ..With the help of Jojoba oil. c:
