So, I've been thinking about my current size and if/when I decide to start moving up again. Since I work in an office environment, stretching beyond 2g could prove to be challenging as people will start to notice anything much larger than what I currently have.
Hider plugs are great and all, but until the stretch is healed, they are out of the question, so it got me to thinking, I have heard of people painting colorfront plugs with designs and what have you, so it seems reasonable that I could paint some a flesh color to match my ears, basically creating glass hiders.
Has anyone tried this? Have you had any luck? I'm just curious at this point. Call it planning for the future. ; )

Re: Painting colorfront plugs
You can paint glass with nail polish easily. Just be sure not to get it on the wearable and its fine. You can easily take it off and repaint too. A matte topcoat makes them look more 'fleshy'. I paint mine odd colours fairly often; its quick, easy and actually quite versatile. I can't keep my nails pretty for more than a day, but I've yet to chip the paint off a plug, lol
Glass doesn't sit as flush to the skin as hiders do though, so they're not quite as good. Still better than nothing.

Re: Painting colorfront plugs
Good to know. There is a shop near my place that sells colorfront plugs with flat, low-profile front which would be a lot less conspicuous than the ones with domed fronts.
I'm glad to hear nail polish works well. Do they sell a matte finish for nails? Since I'm a guy, so I don't paint my nails often, I'm not privy to this kind of thing. Lol
Thanks so much for the info. : )

You can get matte topcoats so you can go over whatever colour you like.

Hey, this sounds like a good idea... be interesting to see how you get on with this... you'll have to upload some pics when you've had a go.
It's annoying that we have to go to such lengths... Kinda wish people would be more open minded about these things, especially in this 'day and age'. I'm having a bit of a marathon tattoo session down my forearms at the moment - long sleeves for work it is...
Not sure my lobes will ever get to the point where I will need to try and conceal them a bit but we'll see.
Might start a campaign called 'stretched lobes have rights too'...
