Going from 1/2" to 9/16" PROBLEM

So I've been at 1/2" for 2 months and am ready to continue with my journey.


I started taping my 1/2" plugs 2 days ago using bondage tape and vitamin E oil.

My right ear is doing perfect! I've added a total of 3 layers.

As for my left ear -
It has no tape on it. I had 2 layers on it for 2 days and everytime I went to turn it, shift it, anything - it was "stuck" as if it were adhering to my skin. I got scared and took the tape off.

Any ideas on what's going on, how to fix it, or what to do?

I know my ears are ready. Especially my left one. It was loose around the 1/2" (not alot, but I noticed.) I don't get it. My right ear did the same thing when I was using PTFE tape going from 0g to 00g.

If your ear won't cooperate with being taped, that one isn't ready to stretch. You should wait a few weeks, and do some oil massages to loosen it up.
