okay so today i got an idea....

so SSS are weird for me to do, i have to tilt my head and the glass and stay still while i do them and i dont really have time for it. So today i thought i would try something new. I made a SSS but instead of putting my ear in it i dipped a couple of cotton balls in it and used my ptfe tape to tape the cotton to my ears. it kinda looks really funny but so far as i can tell it works just fine.





thats what it looked like i mean i was cleaning my house so it didnt matter. but does anyone have contradictions as to why that doesnt work as well or pointers on how to do it better?

only thing i can think would be to make sure the water doesnt evaporate and leave all of the salt behind. make sure to rinse off your ear.

Sometimes fibers from cotton balls can get stuck in your piercing. But I guess if you rinse your lobes off afterward it wouldn't matter. Also, one of the main benefits of sea salt soaks is that they're HOT and draw blood to the area... that doesn't seem like it would stay hot enough to really have a lot of benefits. But if it stays hot and you're not having a problem with cotton getting in your lobes, nothing wrong with it.

they stay pretty hot and i have to wash my lobes afterwards, i have a thing about my lobes being dirty
