Noob question, first stretch after care.

So four days ago I did my first stretch 14g and it seems to be healing perfectly (no pain, no crust lol)
I had to leave the surgical steal taper in as jewelery (I know...BAD) Because with my stretching kit the tunnels don't start until 10g.

I rub bio-oil around the front and back every night.

Am I supposed to take them out and clean the holes?
Some people say you're supposed to twist them and others say not to.
So I'm confused?

If there's no pain or open wounds, you really don't need to do anything. After a few days you can start taking them out and cleaning them with soap and water so they won't smell, but you really shouldn't have any wounds that need healing. You should definitely wait a week or so before you start doing oil massages; the rubbing can irritate a new stretch.
Other than that, make sure you're waiting at least 6+ weeks between sizes and don't force a stretch if there's any pain or resistance.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

Oh, I forgot to add, definitely don't twist them! There's a huge misconception that you're supposed to twist piercings/stretches... all it does is disrupt healing tissue and piss off your piercings. The best thing for piercings and stretches is to leave them alone. :)
